CLOSED: Saturday 30th August to Friday 5th September 2025
CLOSED: Sunday 21st December 2026 to Sunday 4th January 2026

Our club Welfare officer is Jessica Hopkinson. She has an up to date, fully enhanced DBS and has completed both the Safeguarding & Child protection and Time to Listen Qualifications.
Here at Trix Academy, we believe we have created a supportive environment to promote the well-being of all our members. The welfare of our members is of our upmost priority here at Trix and it is our aim to give all gymnasts a positive, enjoyable experience. We strive to provide an environment where all children can thrive while ensuring that all gymnasts are protected and safe from harm. |
Concerns/Complaints
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. If you do have a concern, we encourage you to discuss this with us.
We are a British Gymnastics affiliated club. As they are the governing body, we follow their policies and procedures. You can access their policies via their website and the links below. We also give parents our codes of conduct on joining our club. All of our coaches are members of British Gymnastics, have up to date DBS checks and have completed safeguarding training.

- If your concern is regarding you child’s training or progress it is best to contact your child’s coach, the head coach of the session or the club’s head coach in person or via email on trixacademy@yahoo.co.uk
- If you have a concern regarding child welfare or wish to make a suggestion/ complaint, please contact our Welfare Officer confidentially via email at trixwelfareofficer@gmail.com.
- If your concern is of an urgent nature please speak to a member of staff immediately who will contact our Welfare officer and all relevant agencies.
